Welcome to Formnext!

Formnext powered by TCT, is now in its third year of bringing together industry professionals from one of the most revolutionary industries to date. Formnext is the product of a strategic partnership between Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH in Stuttgart and Rapid News Publications, Ltd., organizer of the TCT show + Personalize. The show is about the next generation of intelligent manufacturing technology and focuses on the efficient realization of parts and products, from design to serial production. With 290 exhibitors and several keynote speakers (covering topics anywhere from industrial tooling, design & product development to training and education), Formnext is sure to provide attendees and exhibitors an experience they won’t soon forget. In preparation for its 3rd annual show this November, Formnext has published Fon, the Formnext magazine that features articles on industry trends and this year’s focus: additive manufacturing – the technical term for 3-D printing.

“If you’re not excited by 3-D printing it’s because you’re not thinking big enough, say some technology visionaries who predict that life on Earth will soon radically change because of it,” taken from an article titled How 3-D printing Will Radically Change the World  by CNBC writer Linda Federico-O’Murchu. In her article, Federico-O’Murcho interviews experts who explain how this technology will impact aspects of many different industries, but most dramatic is its potential in the medical field. Fon covers a fascinating story about an additive manufacturing technique that uses Continue reading Welcome to Formnext!

Messe Frankfurt celebrates #GED17

Last week, Messe Frankfurt North America participated in the second annual Global Exhibitions Day (#GED17), which celebrated the Trade Show Industry and its influence on the globalized market. Organized by UFI The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, #GED17 received an international response of connection and solidarity. Through our trade events, we aren’t only creating opportunities for our exhibitors and attendees, we are contributing to the welfare of the many families that are benefiting from the trade show ecosystem.” GED17 was a successful day of community that recognized the significance this industry has on the worldwide economy.

First time at Expo! Expo!

As IAEE announces the location for Expo! Expo! 2017, our IT Director, Brian Hays reminisces on his first Expo! Expo! experience. Brian took a trip to Anaheim, CA along with some of the Messe Frankfurt North America team, last December for the annual trade show industry meeting and exhibition.

img_22411. IT takes everyone on the team working together in constant communication to make a trade show successful – before, during and after the show!
I was really amazed at how well-organized the event was, from registration to the closing ceremony. From the promotion of the event to follow up emails after the event. Expo! Expo! hosted 262 exhibitors and more than 2,200 attendees. I’m really impressed with how they provided something for everyone — they also made it informative and fun. The exhibit hall and the Tech Swim Up Lab were my favorite parts of the trade show. With these developments and technology, I’m very excited for the future of IT in this industry.
